New for 2010 are Citronella Mosquito Repellent Wristbands. These are a safe, natural and effective alternative to harmful DEET products. As all of our wristbands, mosquito repellent wristbands are 100% latex free. Natural citronella oil acts as the repellent keeping mosquitoes and flying insects away for up to 6 hours!
How does it work? The bracelet contains a small, specially designed compartment on the top of it. Within this reservoir is a small sponge. Citronella oil is placed onto the sponge and the compartment is sealed with a silicone adhesive. To release the citronella oil repellent, simply puncture one of 5 small holes on the top of the wristband. We have created the 5 marks to puncture so you may regulate the effectiveness of the repellent.
Citronella oil has a pleasant odor. There is no need to reapply traditional spray products that wear off after perspiration, leave a sticky “film” or carry bottles of products around. It protects against yellow fever, ozone safe and is the most popular natural insect repellent all in a stylish bracelet!
