The 4th of July is quickly

know the official resolution of independence set forth before the 2nd
Continental Congress actually occurred 2 days before on July 2, 1776? The
Declaration was therefore approved on July 4th. July 4th therefore became the
official holiday within a year and has been celebrated ever since.
